Carrie Pauline Ellen

Carrie Pauline "Polly" Ellen, age 88, of 2510-A Miller Park Circle, Winston- Salem died Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at her home. Mrs. Ellen grew up in the Central Falls area of Asheboro. She was a member of Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church of Winston-Salem, volunteer at the Baptist Hospital, member of the Elks Lodge #449 and the Housemakers Club. Polly was a retired bookkeeper and dispatcher for Greyhound bus line. She is preceded in death by her brother, William H. Richardson and sister, Ruth Richardson. She is survived by sisters: Lois Freeman and Dorothy Rollins both of High Point, NC. The family will receive friends Saturday, May 7, 2011 from 3:00-3:45 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC. The funeral service will follow at 4:00 pm. Burial will be at Randolph Memorial Park, Asheboro. Memorials may be made to World Vision, P.O. Box 9716, Federal Way, Wa. 98063-9716.
