Carrie Harkey Cox

Carrie Harkey Cox, 91, of Asheboro passed away on Friday, April 11th in Randolph Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Ernest L. Cox, in 1990.She was a loving and devoted wife and mother. Survivors include son Tim Cox, and wife Maria of Tampa, Florida, daughter Cindee Adams, and husband Jerry of Raleigh, sister Vera Faircloth of Asheboro, two grandchildren, and a multitude of nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held for her on Tuesday April 15, at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, Asheboro at 6:00 PM with Rev. Michael Holder and Rev. George Roberson officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home between 4:00 and 6:00PM on Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Randolph County.
