Carolyn Ann Oaks

Carolyn Ann Oaks, age 56, of Asheboro died Saturday, May 24, 2014 at Randolph Hospice House. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 29, 2014 at 5:00 pm at Destination Heaven, Old County Farm Rd., Sophia. Ms. Oaks was a native of Randolph County and was self-employed as a home health caregiver. Carolyn enjoyed life, the outdoors, and working in her garden. She loved spending time with her family. She is survived by her daughter, Crystal Ann Oaks of Asheboro; son, Jonathan Oaks of La Plata, MD; mother, Charlotte Allen of Randleman; grandson, Gabriel Groboski of Asheboro; and brother, David Earl Shutz of Randleman. Pugh Funeral Home in Asheboro is serving the Oaks family.
