Carolyn Mead Lineberry

Carolyn Mead Lineberry, age 75, of Asheboro died Monday, December 11, 2017 at her home.

Mrs. Lineberry was born September 28, 1942 the daughter of Woodrow and Christine Walsh Mead. Carolyn was a native of Randolph County and a member of First United Methodist Church, Randleman. She retired from Penn Western Benefit and had 25 years of service with Pilot Life Insurance Company. Carolyn was known as a woman who could get things done, very loyal, professional, and a perfectionist. But also spunky and quick witted She loved to travel, going to the beach and Florida but taking cruises was her favorite. Carolyn was a member of The Pilot Club International. In addition to her parents, Carolyn is preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Lineberry, step father, Pete Vuncannon, brother, Jack Mead, sister-in-law, Charlotte Mead.

She is survived by nephews: Beau Mead (Sara) of New Buffalo, MI. and Brandon Lucas of Randleman; great nephew, Steven Mead; sister-in-law, Gail Lucas (Jimmy) of Randleman; closest friend of 54 years, Ann Dowd of Jamestown and special friend Tim McCullum; and special feline friend, Tux.

The family will receive friends Thursday, December 14, 2017 from 12:30-1:45 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC. A memorial service will follow at 2:00 pm in the chapel with Rev. Jenna Grogan officiating.
