Carolyn O. Lee

Carolyn Olive Lee, age 67, formerly of Asheboro died Monday, January 30, 2012 at the John F. Keever, Jr. Solace Center in Asheville. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2012 at 1:30 pm at Browers Chapel United Methodist Church, 1030 Browers Chapel Road, Asheboro with Rev. David Spaulding officiating. Inurnment will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Lee was born in Garner, NC on August 20, 1944 to Jacob and Christell Cooke Olive. She was retired as an inspector with Acme-McCrary Corporation and loved gardening. In addition to her parents, Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband David W. Lee, Jr. She is survived by her son, David W. Lee III and his wife Melody M. Lee of Fort Mill, SC; daughter, Sherri Lee Hogan and her husband Warren S. Hogan of Fletcher, NC; grandchildren, Jacob and Jackie Lee, and Olivia and Stone Hogan; sisters, Betsy Jernigan of Williamsburg, VA, Frances Mitchiner of Columbia, SC, and Julia Shearon of Wake Forest, NC. The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 4, 2012 from 12:30-1:30 pm in the church sanctuary. Memorials may be made to Care Partners Hospice Foundation, P.O.
