Carolyn Brown Kearns of Asheboro died Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at her residence.
Carolyn was born July 16, 1942 in Montgomery County, the daughter of James (Jim) and Aileen Brown.
She attended Oakhurst Baptist Church, Asheboro, NC. She was an excellent cook who loved crocheting and arts and crafts.
She is survived by two sons: David Eric Kearns of Asheboro, NC and Philip Allen Kearns of Roswell, NM; one grandchild, Megan Paige Kearns; and one great-grandchild, Easton Kearns Stanley; one brother, Joe (JoAnn) Brown of Myrtle Beach, SC.
The family will receive friends Sunday, June 4, 2017 from 1:15 pm to 2:15 pm in the church sanctuary at First Wesleyan Church; a funeral service will follow at 2:30 pm with Dr. Ed Lindsey officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
