Carolyn Edwards

Carolyn Marks Edwards, age 74, of Asheboro died Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, Winston- Salem. Mrs. Edwards was born May 27, 1940 the daughter of Buddy and Elgie Mae Marks. Carolyn was a native of Richmond County. She was retired from Klopman Mills and Sew Special. Carolyn loved to fish and play bingo and enjoyed raising flowers. In addition to her parents, Carolyn is preceded in death by her husband James Edwards and daughter Martha Dawson. She is survived by her daughter: Leasia Willard and her husband Mark of Asheboro; son: Timothy Edwards and his wife Jeanine of Holden Beach; grandchildren: James, Roy, Matthew and Jonathan Edwards, Mark, Jessica and Brennen Willard, Joseph McDowell, Josh and Felicia Dawson, Randall, Sherry and Megan Bodenheimer all of Sophia; great-grandchildren: Braxton, Colton and McKinna Edwards, E.J. Willard, Ellie Cress and Kelly Henderson; and a special niece Cheryl Edds, for whom the family would like to thank for her love and support. The family will receive friends Sunday, March 8, 2015 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC. The funeral service will be held Monday, March 9, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, with officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park, Asheboro.
