Caroleen Miller Glass

Caroleen Miller Glass, age 84, of 1513 Briarcliff Dr., Asheboro died Tuesday, June 3, 2008 at Randolph Hospital, Asheboro. Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 7, 2008 at 2:00 pm at Browers Chapel United Methodist Church with Rev. Michael W. Adams Sr. officiating. Burial will be in Randolph Memorial Park. Mrs. Glass was a native of Randolph County, a member of Brower's Chapel United Methodist Church and retired from Walker Shoe Company. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, John Edward Glass, Sr., U.S. Army SSGT retired, whom she had traveled most of the world with while he served his country. Caroleen was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She is survived by her daughter, Patricia A. Glass of Raleigh; son, John E. Glass Jr. of Asheboro; grandchildren, Jaime Lynn Glass of Raleigh, Jeremy Dale Fogleman of Raleigh, Michael Jonathon Glass of Asheboro; daughter-in-law, Rhonda Hoover Glass of Asheboro. The family will receive friends Friday, June 6, 2008 from 6 - 8 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC, other times at her home.
