Carol Ann Morris

Carol Ann Seawell Morris, age 62 of New London, NC passed away on Monday, February 28, 2022 at Bethany Woods Nursing & Rehab Center, Albemarle, NC.

Carol was born on May 1, 1959 in Randolph County to the late Cleo Melvin Seawell and Margie Brock Seawell.  She was a graduate of  Denton High School.  Carol had a great sense of humor.  She enjoyed working crossword puzzles, shopping, talking on the phone and always enjoyed a good meal.  She especially loved her grandchildren.  She attended Chandler's Grove UMC.

Carol is survived by her daughter's: Kimberly Simpson (James) of New London, and Jennifer Shue (Walter) of Norwood; grandchildren: Jewel, Terry, Luke, Jordan, Chloe, Adrian, and Katelyn; great granddaughter: Brenda; siblings: Billy Seawell (Lisa) of New London, Pam Tysinger (Tim) of New London, Mark "Kimbo" Seawell (Linda) of Troy, Barbara Freeman (Rick) of Trinity, Debbie Landis (Mark) of New London, Arnold Seawell of New London, and Amy Dennis (Danny) of Mt. Gilead; mother, Margie Seawell of  New London.  She was preceded in death by her father, Cleo Seawell.

A Funeral service will be held on Sunday, March 20, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Chandler's Grove United Methodist Church, 2535 Blaine Rd., New London, NC 28127 with the Rev. Steve Phillipe' officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will have a visitation following the burial service.
