Carlon Odell Fields, age 42, of Raleigh died Monday, May 16, 2016 in the Turks & Caicos Islands.
Carlon was born October 5, 1973 the son of Carson Meade Fields and Vivian Taylor Fields.
Carlon was a native of Randolph County, attended Vandalia Christian School and graduated from Southern Guilford High School in 1991. He also graduated from Appalachian State University in 1996 with a Bachelor's of Science in Accounting. He was employed by PRA HealthSciences in Raleigh as the Director of Internal Audit. Carlon was preceded in death by his father: Carson M. Fields.
He is survived by one daughter: Kaylen Fields (and her mother: Tracia Fields Lynch) of Mocksville; his mother: Vivian Taylor Fields; brother: Stan Fields and his friend, Tonia Trogdon; all of Pleasant Garden; niece: Julia Fields of Asheville; fiancée: Christen Elaine Jones of Raleigh; grandmother: Annie Mae Taylor of Greensboro and many aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family and friends.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, May 31, 2016 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home., 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC 27317.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at 3:00 PM at Providence Friends Meeting, 2054 Providence Church Road, Pleasant Garden with Rev. Larry McEntire officiating.
Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
A Celebration of Life service will be held in Raleigh at a later date.
