Carlie Wayne Wilhoit

Carlie Wayne Wilhoit, age 65, of 424 Tower Road, Troy died Saturday, May 24, 2014 at his residence. Mr. Wilhoit was born May 16, 1949 in Troy. Wayne was a native of Montgomery County, and Owner and Operator of C. W. Wilhoit Plumbing. He loved the outdoors and was an avid fisherman and hunter. He was preceded in death by his father, Carlie Benjamin Wilhoit and a brother Edwin Wilhout. He is survived by his wife of 46 years Brenda Coble Wilhoit of the home , daughter: Patricia W. Hancock of Mt. Gilead, N.C. mother: Rachel Dennis Wilhoit of Troy, N.C.; 2 grandchildren. The family will receive friends Monday, May 26, 2014 from 6 to 7 PM at White Crest Baptist Church, 1051 River Rd., Mt Gilead, NC. The funeral will follow at 7:00 P.M at White Crest Baptist Church with Rev. Dave Wensil officiating.Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
