Carl Allen Smith

Carl Allen Smith, age 77, of Randleman died Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at Woodland Hill Care & Rehabilitation, Asheboro. Mr. Smith was born January 29, 1938 the son of Drew and Marianna Mabe Smith. Carl was a native of Randolph County and a member of Whitehall Evangelical Methodist Church. He was a former truck driver for Klopman Mills. After retirement Carl was a custodian at Randolph Hospital. He is survived by one daughter: Carla Darlene Smith of Climax; son: Bryan Smith of Randleman; granddaughter, Michell Pineda of Apex; sisters: May Hill of Sophia, and Mozelle Walker of Trinity; brothers: Cecil Smith of Denton, JR Smith of Sophia, and Herbert Smith of Sophia. The family will receive friends Monday, February 23, 2015 from 12:30 - 2:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm in the chapel with Rev. Jonathan Perdue officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park, Asheboro.
