Carl Michael Parrish

Carl Michael "Big Mike" Parrish, Sr., age 81 of Randleman passed away on Saturday, November 14, 2020 at Randolph Health, Asheboro. Mr. Parrish was born August 17, 1939 the son of Troy Lee and Rilla Edwards Parrish. Big Mike was a very hard worker with an incredible work ethic. He and his loving wife were the owner and operators of Mike's Metal Letter's, Inc. since 1964. Big Mike enjoyed collecting antique cars and riding around on his tractors. He loved spending time and playing right along with his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, as well as all of the neighborhood kids. In addition to his parents, Big Mike is preceded in death by his brothers, Tommy Parrish and Ronnie Parrish. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Carolyn Caldwell Parrish; daughter Tammy Parrish (Kyle) Lamb of Randleman; son, Carl Michael "Little Mike" (Ashley) Parrish, Jr. of Randleman; grandchildren, Dustin (Erica) Lamb, Cameron (Brenna) Lamb, Austin (Kenzi) Reddick, Caleb Parrish; great grandchildren, Lincoln, Laken, Merritt, Cason, Lane, Everly; siblings, Bobby (Carolyn) Parrish, Brenda Chester, and Troy (Judy Ann) Parrish, II. Big Mike will lie in repose on Friday, November 20, 2020 from 12:45 pm - 1:45 pm at Freedom Life Church, 116 Sunrise Circle, Asheboro. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm with Pastor Ben Chavis officiating. Burial will be in Burnett's Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery, Greensboro.
