Buddy Franklin Robbins

Buddy Franklin Robbins, age 73, of Asheboro died Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at Randolph Hospice House, Asheboro. Mr. Robbins was born September 20, 1939 in Randolph County to Dennis Paul and Susie Langley Robbins. He was retired from Lorillard after 39 years of service and was an avid fisherman. Buddy's greatest love was his family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Shelby J. Robbins; son, Dennis F. Robbins and his wife Faye of Asheboro; daughter, Dana Uhl of Asheboro; grandchildren, Dustin Robbins, Shea Uhl, Tate Uhl, Jason Whitaker, Scott Whitaker, David Whitaker; 3 great grandchildren. Private services will be held Friday, November 2, 2012 at Randolph Memorial Park with Chaplain Tim Pheagin officiating. The family will not be receiving friends at the funeral home. Friends are welcome to pay their respects after 12:00 noon on Thursday at Pugh Funeral Home, Asheboro.
