Bruce Lynn Bair, age 67, of Asheboro passed away on Sunday, December 9, 2018 at his home.
Mr. Bair was born in Prince George County, MD on March 14, 1951 to William Leroy and Theda Ransdell Bair and lived most of his life in North Carolina. Bruce attended The Summit Church in Kernersville. Bruce was a master carpenter and independent contractor, formerly employed by Lowe's Hardware for 17 years as a kitchen installer. Bruce was an incredibly talented musician, recording engineer, singer, and songwriter. He composed over 160 songs and was currently the guitarist and lead singer of Lovelight, a band performing his original music. He played bass in many other bands throughout his life, always expressing the beautiful music deep in his soul. Bruce loved spending time with his family and was a devoted husband, father, and friend.
He is survived by his wife of 9 years, Andrea Elizabeth Bair; children, Benjamin "Benny" Bair of Port Richey, FL, Jessica (John) Hamilton of Morgantown, WV, and Jonah Martin of the home; grandchildren, Benjamin "Little Benny" Bair, Rylie Hamilton, Toby Hamilton, Jono Hamilton, and Dyson Hamilton; brothers, Russ (Rebecca) Bair of Tacoma, WA, Bill Bair of Seattle, WA, Jeff (Malinda) Bair of Oak Ridge, NC, and Rob (Mary) Bair of High Point, NC.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, December 16, 2018 at 2:00 pm at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, 437 Sunset Avenue in Asheboro with Rev. Mark Hall officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
