Broadus Chriscoe

Walter Broadus Chriscoe, age 86, of 272 Adams Rd., Seagrove died Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at his home. Funeral services will be held Friday, April 22, 2011 at 3:00 pm at Union Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Ron Chaney and Rev. Grady Blakely officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mr. Chriscoe was a native of Richmond County and a member of Union Grove Baptist Church. He was retired from Burlington Industries and was preceded in death by his wife, Clara Belle Cooper. He is survived by his son, Kenneth Broadus Chriscoe of Rockingham; daughter, Patricia C. Gray of Seagrove; 4 grandchildren; sisters, Vera Jenkins of Tucker, GA, Kathleen Whatley of Asheboro, Julia Marsh of Seagrove; and brother, Bobby Neal Chriscoe, Sr. of Seagrove. The family will receive friends Thursday, April 21, 2011 from 6 to 8 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, and other times at his home.
