Brenda Sue Swaney

Brenda Sue Farlow Swaney, age 63, of Asheboro died Friday, January 18, 2008 at Duke University Medical Center, Durham. Mrs. Swaney was born January 6, 1945 the daughter of Grady E. and Mabel (Tuttle) Farlow. Mrs. Swaney was a native of Randolph County. She had worked for Klaussner Industries, Wells Hosiery and at the Caraway Race Track. She attended Faith Community Church of Asheboro and was preceded in death by her husband James Ray Swaney. She is survived by: two sons: Jimmy Swaney of Asheboro, NC, Marvin Swaney of Asheboro, NC; one daughter: Carol Swaney of Sophia, NC; mother: Mabel (Tuttle) Farlow of Sophia; three sisters: Dianne Fain of Ferrum, VA, Barbara Bishop of Ridgeway, VA, Patricia Benson of Sophia, NC and two brothers: Eugene Farlow of Randleman, NC, David Farlow of Franklinville, NC; 5 grandchildren3 great grandchildren The family will receive friends Monday, January 21, 2008 from 7:00 - 9:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC and other times at the home of her son Jimmy, 1648 Arrowwood Road Asheboro, NC. The funeral will be Tuesday, January 22, 2008 at 11:00 AM at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, Asheboro with Pastor Wayne Eller and Pastor Danny Jarrell officiating. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery, Asheboro.
