Brenda Faye Stringer

Brenda Faye "Bennie" Stringer, age 62, of Asheboro died Sunday, January 25, 2009 at her home.Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 28, 2009 at 3:00 PM at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Vernon McDaniel and Rev. Greg Byrum officiating. Burial will follow in Randolph Memorial Park, Asheboro.Miss Stringer was born in Randolph County on October 27, 1946 to Clarence Edward and Bertha Leona Ingold Stringer, who preceded her in death. She was a 1966 graduate of Asheboro High School, and was formerly employed with Woodley Furniture, GoForth Exterminators, Brian Center, and Klaussner Furniture. One of Bennie's most cherished possessions was her love for her cats. She is survived by her sister, Linda Edwards and her husband Kenneth of Charlotte, NC; nieces, Vicki Byrum of Charlotte, NC, Angie James of Fort Mill, SC, Sherri Colon of Charlotte, NC, and Terri Edwards of Charlotte, NC; great nieces and nephews, Stephanie Byrum, Amber Byrum, Toria Byrum, Jeremy Edwards, Daniel James, Ashton Colon and Brayden Colon.The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 27, 2009 from 7:00 - 9:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC.Memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Randolph County, P.O.
