Brenda Kaye Davidson

Brenda Kaye Henley Davidson, age 66, of 2192 Davidson Country Lane, Asheboro died Saturday, December 1, 2012 at her home. Mrs. Davidson was born April 30, 1946 the daughter of Samuel Milton and Frances Louella Ledwell Henley. Mrs. Davidson was a native of Randolph County, a 1964 graduate of Asheboro High School and graduated from Kings Business College in Charlotte. She was a member of Neighbor's Grove Wesleyan Church where she taught Sunday School, worked with the Youth, sang in the choir and a former board member. Brenda was formerly employed with Asheboro City School and she retired from the Randolph County School System. Brenda was a loving wife, mother, grammy, sister and friend. She always wanted to help others and loved planning family and class reunions. She enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling and meeting new friends. Brenda was a "Navy Wife" and worked at Rohr while Jerome was stationed in San Diego, CA. She is survived by her husband of 46 years: Jerome Davidson, daughter: Betsy Davidson, son: Bo Davidson and his wife, Beth all of Asheboro; four grandchildren: Sam and Landis Davidson, Sawyer and Lance Davis, two sisters: Judy Surratt and Martha Conley both of Asheboro; two brothers: Phillip Henley and his wife, Linda, and Steve Henley and his wife, Janet all of Asheboro. The family will receive friends Monday, December 3, 2012 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Ave., Asheboro and other times at her home. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at 1:00 PM at Neighbors Grove Wesleyan Church, 1928 N. Fayetteville St., Asheboro with Rev. Doug Dennis and Rev. Eric Davidson officiating.
