Brenda Dale Cleek

Brenda Dale Campbell Cleek, 58, of Liberty, NC went to be with Jesus on Thursday, January 9, 2014 after a very short illness. Brenda was born on March 25, 1955 in Lexington, VA, to the late Dorothy Kathleen Snow and the late, Floyd William Campbell. Brenda, a real estate agent, was part of the family at Chatham Homes Realty of Pittsboro, NC. She graduated in 1974 from Parry McCluer High School in Buena Vista, Virginia. She was an avid gardener, fabulous cook and adored by her family and friends. She is survived and loved by her husband, Bradley Carlyle Cleek of twenty-four years. In addition to her husband, her loving family includes her sister, Claudia Chittum and her late husband, Michael, of Hampton, Virginia, brother, Michael Leonard Campbell and wife, Becky, of Powell, Wyoming, and sister, Cindy Staton and husband, Butch, of Buena Vista, VA. She is survived by two daughters, Leecy Kathleen Fink and husband, Gary of Lynchburg, Virginia and their children, Madeline Shay, Cameron Paul, Jenna Kathleen, Eliza Gail, and Amelia Michelle, and Christina Gail Wells and husband, Jim of Columbus, Ohio and their children, Sidney Allen and Ethan Edward. In addition, she is survived by many nieces and nephews, her neighbors, Nancy and Craig and her best dog, Chuck. A celebration of life service will be held on Sunday, January 12, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro with Rev. Brian Gawf officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
