Branson Alexander Furr, age 16, of 1904 Cedar Rd., Asheboro died Wednesday, December 8, 2010.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 11, 2010 at 11:00 am at Neighbors Grove Wesleyan Church with Rev. Doug Dennis and Rev. Luke Jackson officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Branson was a native of Randolph County and a junior at Asheboro High School where he ran cross country and was the sports editor for the Ash-Hi Chat. He attended Neighbor's Grove Wesleyan Church where he was an active member of his youth group. Branson was employed with Food Lion in Asheboro.
He is survived by parents, Rhonda and Jeremy Sudduth of Asheboro; sister, Rebecca Furr of Asheboro; brothers, Ronald Sudduth of Asheboro, Reid Sudduth of Asheboro; maternal grandparents, Nina and the late Larry "Fuzzy" Furr of Asheboro; paternal grandparents, Earl and Gale Sudduth of Seagrove.
The family will receive friends Friday, December 10, 2010 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro and other times at the home of Nina Furr, 1818 Pleasant St., Asheboro.
