Bonna Cockman Brewer, age 65, of 1506 Tremont Dr., Asheboro died Tuesday, June 30, 2009 at Randolph Hospital, Asheboro.Funeral services will be held Friday, July 3, 2009 at 11:00 am at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mark Wilburn officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery.Mrs. Brewer was a native of Randolph County, was retired from Technimark and was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Brewer. She was a dedicated and loving mother and grandmother. She is survived by son, Eddie Johnson and his wife Debbie of Asheboro; daughter, Starla Beane and her husband Kevin of Asheboro; grandchildren, Jasmine Johnson, Hannah, Brooke and Reece Beane; step-grandchildren, Alecia Cox, Jordan Beane; brothers, James Cockman of Denton, Butch Cockman of Ramseur.The family will receive friends Thursday, July 2, 2009 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro and other times at her daughter's home, 4435 Old NC Hwy. 49, Asheboro.
