Bobby Darrell York

Bobby Darrell York, age 65, of Asheboro died Saturday, January 10, 2009 at Randolph Hospital, Asheboro. Mr. York was born October 9, 1943 in Ramseur the son of Connor Deward and Lallie Hill York.Mr. York was a native of Randolph County, Navy veteran of the Vietnam War and was retired from the Randolph Hospital Rehabilitation Department and was also a retired CNA and EMT. Bobby was a past member of Ash-Rand Rescue and before retiring he assisted on medical calls with the Asheboro Fire Department. He is survived by his daughter, Lisa Dawn York of Ramseur and brother: Jimmy T. York of Ramseur. Bobby was preceded in death by his parents.The family will receive friends Sunday, January 11, 2009 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue in Asheboro. The graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM at the Pleasant Ridge Christian Church Cemetery, 1426 Pleasant Ridge Road in Ramseur with Dr. Ron Hamilton officiating.
