Bobby Lee Wright, Sr.

Bobby Lee Wright, Sr. age 73, of 2494 Creekway Ridge Rd., Asheboro died Tuesday, October 5, 2010 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center, Winston-Salem. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 8, 2010 at 4:00 p.m. at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Pete Lamb officiating. Entombment will be in Randolph Memorial Park with military honors by the Randolph County Honor Guard. Mr. Wright was a native of Surry County and was a member of Iron Mountain Baptist Church. Bobby was a member of the National Guard and was retired from Thompson-Arthur Paving Company after 5 years of service. He is survived by his wife, Lois H. Wright; sons, Bobby Lee Wright, Jr. of Orlando, FL, Ajay Wright and Dakota Wright both of the home; stepsons, Jerry Wade Culler of Trinity, NC, William McCoy Moore, Jr. of Asheboro, NC, Donald Mac Moore of Greensboro, NC, Jimmy Dale Moore of Florida; 10 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; brothers, James Austin Wright, Jr. of Trinity, NC, Marvin Ray Wright of Claudeville, VA, Vernon Gray of Lexington, NC; sisters, Betty Lou Ferguson of Shallotte, NC, Ruby Wright Dickens of Lexington, NC, and Mary Ann Fleming of Shallotte, NC. The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 7, 2010 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC.
