Robert Jackson "Bobby" Richardson, age 74, of 5014 Pleasant Hill Rd., Seagrove died Thursday, July 10, 2008 at Randolph Hospital, Asheboro. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2008 at 2:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro with Rev. Bruce McLanahan officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery, Seagrove. Mr. Richardson was a native of Seagrove, NC and attended Shiloh Baptist Church. He was a professional in many areas, including electrician, building contractor, running a car dealership, masonry contractor, selling clay from his land to area potters, poultry farmer, and rock miner. He is survived by his wife, Betty Lou Richardson, sons, Danny Richardson of Seagrove, NC, Randy Richardson of Seagrove, NC; daughter, Kim Kulba of Ft. Bragg, NC; brother, Clarence Richardson of Virginia; sisters, Marie Drawbaugh of Florida, Nell Harley of Asheboro, NC, and Ann Sugg of Seagrove, NC. The family will receive friends on Friday, July 11, 2008 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC.
