Bobby Frank Patton

Bobby Frank Patton, age 76, of 627 Redding Rd., Asheboro died Wednesday, January 21, 2009 at Randolph Hospital, Asheboro. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 24, 2009 at 11:00 am at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Michael Holder officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery. Mr. Patton was a native of Limestone, TN, a graduate of Washington College Academy in Jonesboro, TN and attended East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, TN. He moved to Asheboro in 1962, retired from Klopman Mills/Burlington Industries and was a member of First United Methodist Church. Mr. Patton was preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte Jaynes Patton. He is survived by sons, Robin Patton of Morehead City, Greg Patton of Asheboro, Jeff Patton of Boone, Ryan Patton of Asheboro; grandchildren, Brandon, Evan, Allison, Adam, Lauren, Sarah, Spencer, Katie and Megan Patton; brother, Harry Patton of Clinton, TN. The family will receive friends Friday, January 23, 2009 from 6 - 8 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC.
