Bobby Lowe Hinshaw

Bobby Lowe Hinshaw, age 79, of Asheboro died Monday, August 6, 2012 at Clapps Convalescent Nursing Home, Asheboro. Mr. Hinshaw was a native of Randolph County and retired from Union Carbide after 33 years of service. He was a member of Asheboro Masonic Lodge #699 and past president of North Asheboro Lions Club. He was a 32nd degree Scottish Rite Mason, a member of Oasis Shrine Temple in Charlotte and a past member and president of Randolph Shrine Club. Mr. Hinshaw was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Maggie McLeod Hinshaw, brothers, Francis Hinshaw, Hoyt Hinshaw and Leon Hinshaw. He is survived by his wife, Peggy Owen Hinshaw; daughter, Teresa H. Danco and Marty Danco of Asheboro; son, Larry Hinshaw and his wife Lynn of Banner Elk; grandchildren, Barkley Hendrix and Jacob Hinshaw. A memorial service will be held Wednesday at 6:00 pm at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, Asheboro. The family will receive friends following the service.
