Bobby Lane Freeman, Sr.

Bobby Lane Freeman, Sr. of Franklinville, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 23, 2012. The family will receive friends at Pugh Funeral Home, Randleman on June 26, 2012 from 6 - 8 pm. Funeral service will be held at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel Wednesday, June 27, 202 at 2:00 pm with Pastor Jeff Harmon officiating. Interment will follow at Randolph Memorial Park, Asheboro. Bobby was born April 2, 1944 in Moore County and retired from Deep River Dyeing, Co. in Randleman after being a supervisor over the finishing department for thirty-three years. Bobby loved fishing, boating and motorcycle riding. He is preceded in death by his parents, Stanley and Mary Freeman; brothers, Odell, Wayne, William and James Freeman. Bobby was survived by his wife of fifty-two years, Margaret Doss Freeman of the home; sons: Bobby "Lane" Freeman, Jr. and his wife Danielle of Randleman, Timothy Freeman and his wife Rachel Haywood of Randleman; daughters, Teresa Bowland and her husband Danny of Randleman, Karen Harmon and her husband Jeff of Franklinville, and Sandy Bowland and her husband Tommy of Randleman; brothers, Ralph and Fred Freeman both of Stokesdale, Thomas Freeman of Reidsville and Tex Freeman of Ft. Payne, Alabama; sisters: Leona Hanks of Reidsville and Ester Dalton of Mayodan; Bobby had sixteen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Following all services the family will receive friends at the family home in Franklinville.
