Bob Lefler

Robert "Bob" Jacob Lefler, age 88, of Salisbury, formerly of Asheboro, died Thursday, December 19, 2013 at the NC State Veterans Home in Salisbury. Mr. Lefler was born April 22, 1925 in Rowan County to Claude and Jessie Lefler. He served in the US Navy during World War II. He was a former realtor in Northern Virginia, was a truck driver for himself and Klopman Mills and retired from Atlas Sales. In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his brother, Haywood Lefler. He is survived by sisters, Claudia L. Graham of Thomasville, Bobbie Jean Clow of Utah; brothers, William Lefler of Winston-Salem, Jack Lefler of Hedgesville, WV, Terry Lefler of Chambersburg, PA; many loving nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Sunday, December 22, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro. The family will receive friends following the funeral service. A private burial will be held at Salisbury National Cemetery.
