Bob Campbell

Robert Newton "Bob" Campbell, age 55, of 305 Railroad Ave., Randleman died Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at his home. Mr. Campbell was born January 30, 1955 the son of Saye Rentz Campbell, Sr. and Audrey Stroud Campbell. Bob was a native of Randolph County and a surgical nurse with Moses Cone Hospital and previously with Randolph Hospital. He enjoyed photography and computers. Bob was loved by his family and his work family at both Moses Cone and Randolph Hospitals. He is preceded in death by: his parents; wife: Sandy Burkhead Campbell; and brother: Ronnie Campbell. He is survived by: one brother: Rick Campbell of Sophia, NC; sister and her husband, Susan and James McKenzie of Asheboro, NC; sister and her husband, Carol and Elton VonCannon of Asheboro, NC; stepdaughter: Kasey Bulford of GA.; stepson: Jason Redding of Asheboro, NC and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Saturday, August 28, 2010 from 1:00-2:30 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC. The funeral will be at 3:00 PM in the chapel. Burial will follow at Patterson Grove Christian Church Cemetery, Ramseur. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
