Blake Alan Brown

Blake Alan Brown, age 30, of Asheboro died Sunday, March 6, 2011 at Randolph Hospital. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 10, 2011 at 4:00 p.m. at Spoons Chapel Christian Church, 1838 Spoons Chapel Rd., Asheboro with Pastor John Auler officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Blake was a native of Randolph County and was employed as a drywall journeyman at Sharp Interiors. He was preceded in death by his grandmother Irene Poole. Blake loved Jesus and his family and was an outdoorsman. He enjoyed music and was an accomplished musician and an excellent artist. He also enjoyed collecting antiques. He is survived by his son, Austin Blake Brown of Reidsville, NC; fiancee, Nichole Pope of Asheboro, NC; parents, Jimmy and Cindy Brown of Asheboro, NC; brothers, Ian Brown and his wife Jessica of Staley, NC, Roger Lee Brown and his wife Courtney of Asheboro, NC; nieces, Nina Brown of Staley, NC and Zoey Brown of Asheboro, NC; and grandmother, Myrna Poole of Asheboro, NC. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 9, 2011 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Ave., Asheboro.
