Billy Spencer Presnell

Billy Spencer Presnell, age 81, of Asheboro died Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at Clapps Convalescent Nursing Home, Asheboro. Mr. Presnell was a native of Randolph County, and an Army veteran. He was retired from Klaussner Furniture and loved spending his spare time fishing. Mr. Presnell was preceded in death by his wife, Edna Jordan Presnell, sisters, Nellie Cole, Belle Sineath and brothers, Clay, Charles and Colon Presnell. He is survived by his daughters, Teresa Presnell of the home, Karen Presnell of Greensboro; son Dean Presnell and his wife Anita Voncannon Presnell of Denton; grandchildren, Jordan and Kailee Presnell; sister, Shirley Luck of Asheboro. The family will receive friends Thursday, July 19, 2012 from 6 to 8 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro. Funeral services will be held Friday, July 20, 2012 at 2:00 pm at Oakhurst Baptist Church with Dr. Richard Crider officiating. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery.
