Billy Glenn Medford, Jr. age 45 of Troy, passed away on Saturday, February 17, 2024, at UNC Chapel Hill Hospital.
Billy was born on March 21, 1978, in Richmond County, NC to Billy Medford, Sr. and Deborah Johnson. Billy was a graduate of Southwestern Randolph High School and was self-employed as a woodworker. He was a loving husband, father, and step-father, with a truly gentle soul. When he wasn't working, he loved to go camping and fishing with his family. Billy was preceded in death by his father, Billy Medford, Sr.
Billy is survived by his wife, Lashanda Medford of the home; son Nathan Medford of Asheboro; step-children: Trey Schwarcbher of Raeford, Kayla Hicks, Kaylm Hicks, and Jaden King, all of Alexandria, VA; and his mother, Deborah Deratt of Asheboro.
