Billy Dayton Hobbs, age 62, of 46 Forest Brook Circle, Asheboro died Tuesday, February 10, 2009 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center, Winston-Salem.Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 14, 2009 at 2:00 PM at Bailey's Grove Baptist Church, 105 E. Beasley St., Asheboro with Pastor Jonathan Shook officiating. Burial will be follow in the church cemetery.Billy was a native of Guilford County and a member of Bailey's Grove Baptist Church. He had worked at several furniture suppliers in the High Point area including Claredon Furniture, Marsh Furniture and Claude-Gable Furniture.He is survived by his daughter, Joanie Sturdivant of Asheboro, NC; son, Jason Hobbs of Asheboro, NC; 4 grandchildren; sisters, Norma Moore of Belmont, NC, Lena Morton of Kernersville, NC; and brother, George Edward Hobbs of Kernersville, NC.The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 14, 2009 from 12:30-1:30 PM at Bailey's Grove Baptist Church and other times at his daughters' home, 46 Forest Brook Circle, Asheboro.
