Billy Cockerham

William Avery "Billy" Cockerham, Jr., age 54, of Asheboro died Monday, September 3, 2012 at his home. No funeral services are planned. Mr. Cockerham was born on January 11, 1958 in Asheboro to William A. and Annie Pierce Cockerham. He was formerly employed with Charlie's Tin Shop. In addition to his parents, Billy was preceded in death by his sister Sharon McNeill. Billy was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He enjoyed his work, loved his Corvette, and was a great cook. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Cardwell Cockerham; son, Michael Cockerham and his fiancée Ashley Allred of Ramseur, NC; daughter, Diana Zuniga and her husband Luis of Franklinville, NC; grandchildren, Anne Breland, Logan Breland, Dominic Zuniga, and Preston Allred. Pugh Funeral Home in Asheboro is serving the Cockerham family.
