Billie Cagle Auman

Billie Cagle Auman, age 82, of 478 Oak View Lane, Asheboro (PO Box 208, Seagrove, NC 27341) died Friday, June 22, 2012 at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital, Greensboro. Mrs. Auman was born August 11, 1929 in High Point, NC the daughter of Paul Cagle and Ruby Comer Cagle. She retired from Bossong Hosiery after 42 years of service. She was of the Baptist faith and loved to go to the beach. She was preceded in death by her brother Paul Cagle, Jr. and on May 30, 2012 her daughter, Sandra A. Needham. She is survived by her husband of 66 years: W. C. Auman, Jr., one daughter: Brenda A. Edwards and her husband Clinton of Asheboro, NC, son-in-law, Charles Needham of Asheboro; granddaughter, Tammy Edwards Guffey and her husband Brian of Thomasville, NC; grandson, Wayne Edwards and his wife Sandra of Asheboro, NC; grandson, Bernard Needham and his wife Terri of Asheboro, NC; great grandchildren, Zachary and Corey Needham and Reagan Edwards all of Asheboro, NC. The funeral will be at 11:00 AM Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro with Rev. Jimmy C. Shirlen officiating. Entombment will follow in Randolph Memorial Park, Asheboro. The family will receive friends Tuesday, June 26, 2012 from 6 to 8 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, and at other times at the home of her daughter Brenda, 3438 Midway Acres Road, Asheboro.
