Beulah Lucas

Beulah Underwood Lucas, age 83, of Asheboro died Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital. Ms. Lucas was born November 6, 1932 in Randolph County to Otto and Daisy. She was formerly employed with Klopman Mills and recently worked for 243 Framing. Beulah loved going to auction sales and enjoyed having yard sales. In addition to her parents, Beulah was preceded in death by her daughter, Judy Mae Lineberry and brothers, H. O., David and Bill Underwood. She is survived by her companion of 54 Years, Charles Moore of the home; daughter, Treva Watson and husband Billy R. Watson of Asheboro; sons, Michael Davis and wife Annie of Asheboro, Jerry Lucas and wife Venita of Randleman, Larry Lucas of Randleman; grandchildren, Kisha Elliott, Jeremy Davis, Tina Jenkins, April Lucas, Jennifer Mabe, Jerry A. Lucas, Jr., Candy Barns, Lisa McGuire; 25 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; sisters, Mary Francis Dixon of Asheboro, Mavoline Lucas of Asheboro. The family will receive friends Friday, August 19, 2016 from 6 - 8 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro and other times at the home of her son Michael Davis. Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 20, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Randolph Memorial Park. The family would like to express a special thank you to the staff of Moses cone Hospital for the care given Beulah during her stay.
