Beulah Mae Wilson Davis

Beulah Mae Wilson Davis, age 93, of Asheboro, passed away on Thursday, December 26, 2013 at Clapp's Convalescent Nursing Home. A private service will be held. Beulah Mae Wilson was born on March 15, 1920 in the Snow Creek Township, Stokes County, NC to J.W. and Hettie Vernon Wilson. She was married at the age of 22 to Joe Harvin Davis, age 24 on December 24, 1942 in Randolph County, NC. They were married by Reverend J.A. Howell and were married 51 years before Joe passed away on October 20, 1994. She was a member of Pleasant Cross Christian Church and was retired from Acme-McCrary Corporation after 36 years of service. Mrs. Davis is survived by daughter, Virginia Mae Davis of Asheboro; son, Joe Michael Davis and his wife Sandra of Asheboro; grandchildren, Jason Davis and his wife Carla of Asheboro, Christopher Davis and his girlfriend Jordann Garner, both of Asheboro; and great-grandchildren, Reese and Aubree Davis. The family would like to express a special thanks to the staff of Clapp's Convalescent Nursing Home for the care given to Beulah over the last 7 years.
