Betty Sue Greene

Betty Sue Brady Greene, age 77, of Asheboro died Thursday, June 2, 2016 at her home. Mrs. Greene was born January 12, 1939 in Randolph County to Isaac Walter and Minnie Mae Kiser Brady. She was an active member of Seagrove Christian Church where she was a trustee, a member of the Women's Fellowship and choir member. Mrs. Greene was formerly employed with Acme-McCrary, Asheboro Telephone, Luck's Incorporated, and Friends of NC Pottery Museum. She was the original owner/operator of Seagrove Dairy Breeze and was retired owner/operator of Triad Reality. Mrs. Green was a volunteer with Meals-on-Wheels, The Saltbox and a Hospice volunteer. She sang in the Gospel Rangers Quartet. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Greene was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Beauford Greene; sisters, Loucilla Chilton, Madar Garner, Ella Fagg and brothers, Ray, Mack and Garland Brady She is survived by her son, Dwayne Greene and wife Sharon of Lexington, SC; daughters, Annette Walton of Franklinville; Jane Aljets and husband Dale of Asheboro; grandchildren,Lindsay and Ryan Greene of Lexington, SC, Taylor, Alex and Nick Walton of Franklinville, Zachary, Emily and Conner Aljets of Asheboro; brothers, Worth Brady and wife Claudette of Asheboro, Lester G. Brady and wife Mildred of Columbia, SC, Lavan Brady and wife Linda of Seagrove. The family will receive friends Saturday, June 4, 2016 from 6 – 9 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Ave., Asheboro. Funeral services will be held Sunday, June 5, 2016 at 3:00 pm at Seagrove Christian Church with Rev. L. D. Pritchard officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
