Betty Sprankle

Betty Snyder Sprankle, age 85, of Asheboro died and went to be with her beloved Lord and Saviour, Sunday, June 10, 2018 at Randolph Hospice House.

Mrs. Sprankle was born March 18, 1933 in Brookville, PA to Newell and Mary Snyder.  She was the youngest of four.  ​​She lived most of her life in Pennsylvania and New York State.

She was retired from Rochester Products after 30 years of service.  Mrs. Sprankle was a member of Asheboro First Assembly.  She was involved in her church over the years, teaching Sunday School, telling missionary stories, or playing the piano.  She enjoyed crocheting lap blankets and knitting clothing for herself and her girls.  ​​

She is survived by son, Michael Sprankle and wife Kathy of Georgia; daughters, Marlene Haffly of Asheboro, Darlene Player of Asheboro; 6 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; sister, Althea Becker of Brookville, PA.​​

Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 16, 2018 at 3:00 pm at Bailey's Grove Baptist Church, 1556 N. Fayetteville Street, Asheboro with Pastor Jonathan Shook officiating. Burial will be in New Hope Memorial Gardens.​​
