Betty Lou Small

Betty Lou Spencer Small, age 82, of Randleman died Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at Randolph Hospice House, Asheboro. Mrs. Small was born May 2, 1933, the daughter of Robert and Flora Carmichael Spencer. Betty was a native of Randolph County and co owner of Joel's Flower Shop. In addition to her parents, Betty is preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Clyde D. Small. She is survived by her sons: Gary Small of Charlotte and Tommy Small and his wife Janice of Randleman; daughter Teresa Lanier and her husband Jim of Randleman; grandsons: Brooks Small and his wife Shelly of Charlotte, Robert Small of Sophia; great granddaughter, Ada Small of Charlotte; sisters: Irene Farlow of Sophia, Marie Nooe of Archdale, Janice Smith of Trinity, and Jeannette Tucker of Archdale; she leaves behind her beloved dogs, Manly and Angel. The family will receive friends Saturday, January 2, 2016 from 12:00 – 1:30 at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 S. Main St., Randleman, NC 27317. A graveside service will follow 2:00 pm at Randolph Memorial Park, 4538 US Hwy 220 Bus. North, Asheboro with Rev. Tim Cole and Rev. Jayme Gandee officiating.
