Betty Lou Shields

Betty Lou Shields, age 79, of Asheboro died Wednesday, September 8, 2010 at Carillon Assisted Living of Asheboro. A private graveside service will be held in Scotland Neck, NC. Miss Shields was a native of Scotland Neck, NC and was retired from the Small Business Administration in Charlotte. Betty Lou was a member of First Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Cecil Shields and Elizabeth Garden Shields, and her brother, John G. Shields. She is survived by her brother, Charles Robert "Bob" Shields and his wife Sarah Burton Clark Shields of Boone; sister-in-law, Ann Shields of Asheboro; and several nieces and nephews.
