Betty Cagle Routh

Betty Lee Cagle Routh, age 79, of Franklinville went home to be with the Lord Friday, October 19, 2012 at her home. Mrs. Routh was born in Montgomery County and a native of Randolph County. She retired from Sapona Manufacturing after 25 plus years of service. Betty loved her family, the Lord and to go fishing. She is preceded in death by her husband, Pearly W. Routh, parents Claude and Minerva Cagle, many of her brothers and sisters. She is survived by her daughters: Martha Fivecoat and her husband Morris of Supply; Pearlie Sue Allred and her husband Ronnie of Franklinville; Lillie York and her husband C.J of Asheboro. son: David Routh of Conway, SC; siblings: Ollie Watts of Archdale, Louise Hancock of Biscoe, Roy Cagle of Denton; 7 grandchildren: Donna Routh, Stephanie York, Michael York, Crystal Routh, Sarah York, Tonya Fagge and Brian Allred. Mrs. Routh was the proud great grand-parent of 10 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Saturday, October 20, 2012 from 6 to 8 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC. The funeral service will be held Sunday, October 21, 2012 at 2:00 pm at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, 600 South Main Street, Randleman with Rev. C.J. York officiating. Burial will follow at Giles Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery, Asheboro. Memorials may be made to Randolph Cancer Center, 373 N. Fayetteville St., Asheboro, NC 27203.
