Betty Lou Moffitt

Betty Brown Moffitt, age 77, of Ramseur went to be with her Savior on March 18, 2014. Mrs. Moffitt was born November 23, 1936, in Randolph County to Roy and Nellie Brown. She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church and was retired from J. C. Penny's. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Moffitt was preceded in death by her sisters, Allece Cook and Judy Smith. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Graham Moffitt; her daughters and sons-in-law, Cheryl and Ray Isley, Cindee and Michael Stout, Carol Ann and Tommy Cox; her grandchildren, Jill and her husband Cameron, Mollee, Meghan, Marilyn, Erin and Kari; sister, Pauline Ritch and brothers, Ricky Brown and Tony Brown. A graveside service will be held Friday, March 21, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery, 4529 Moffitt Mill Rd., Ramseur with Pastor Bruce McLanahan and David Schwartz officiating. The family will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall.
