Betty Jean Vuncannon

Betty Jean Allred Vuncannon, age 77, beloved mother and grandmother passed from this life to the next and went home to be with her God and Savior, Friday, December 17, 2010 at 6:10 pm. Truly His grace was sufficient and His presence faithfully with her in her death. We praise God for her faith in Jesus Christ and find great comfort in the sure hope that we will see her again one day. Mrs. Vuncannon was born in Randleman, NC and lived and worked in Randolph County her entire life. She is preceded in death by her mother: Edna Allred and her brother: Ted Allred. She is survived by: one daughter and her husband: Janet and David Rich of Asheboro, NC; son and his wife: Mark and Donna Vuncannon of Asheboro, NC; grandson, Jason Rich of Greensboro, NC; and grandson, Christopher Vuncannon of GA. The Memorial Service will be Tuesday, December 21, 2010 at 4:00 PM in the chapel at Pugh Funeral Home, Asheboro with Rev. Kenneth L. Reaves officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the home of Janet and David Rich 2017 Gold Hill Road Asheboro, NC. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice Of Randolph, P.O. Box 9, Asheboro, NC 27204-0009.
