Betty Cagle Hill

Betty Jean Cagle Hill, age 79, of 3719 Grantville Lane, Asheboro died Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at Randolph Hospice House, Asheboro. Betty was born November 18, 1932 in Randolph County to Erastus Carl and Bertha Florence Brown Cagle. She was a graduate of Seagrove High School and was a member of Union Grove United Christian Church. Betty was a former employee of McCown-Smith, Tobias and retired from Taylors Dress Shop. Betty was well known for her fine alteration skills. In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her sister, Maxine Beane and brother, Everette Cagle. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Fred Hill; daughters, Tammy Hill of Asheboro, Penny Brown and her husband, Eddie of Randleman; the light of her life, her grandchildren, Brooke and Brent Brown of Randleman; sister, Anna Coble of Asheboro; brothers, Odell Cagle and his wife Nita of Asheboro, Samuel Cagle and his wife, Ann Cagle of Asheboro. The family will receive friends Wednesday, March 7, 2012 from 6 to 8 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 8, 2012 at 2:00 pm at Union Grove Christian Church, 3985 Old NC Hwy 13, Asheboro with Rev. Garry Reeder and Rev. Jimmy Norred officiating.
