Betty LaPrad Highfill

Betty LaPrad Highfill, age 79, of Asheboro passed away on Friday, May 17, 2019 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem.

Mrs. Highfill was born in High Point on September 23, 1939 to Robert Clifton and Fannie Mae Carter LaPrad. She was retired from Mr. Jeans in Randleman and was a member of Faith Community Church. In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Franklin Highfill and sister, Edna LaPrad Matthews.

She is survived by her sons, Ralph L Julian, Jr of Climax, Phillip Julian of Spruce Pines, Michael R. Julian of Asheboro, and Roger Julian of Asheboro; 13 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 from 9:30-10:30 am at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue in Asheboro. Graveside services will follow on Wednesday at 11:00 am at the Randolph Memorial Park with Pastor Wayne Eller officiating.
