Betty Ellis

Betty Ellis, age 78, of Franklinville died Tuesday, June 28, 2011 at her home. Mrs. Ellis was born November 13, 1932 the daughter of Charlie and Josie Reeder. Mrs. Ellis was a native of Randolph County and retired from Union Carbide. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Billy R. Ellis; sisters, Ann Chriscoe, Retha Roberts and Maxine Nelson. She is survived by daughter: Beverly E. O'Brien and her husband, Richard of Franklinville; sons: Barry R. Ellis and his wife, Rita of Asheboro, Bradford "Brad" R. Ellis and his wife, Jennifer of Franklinville; grandchildren, Brandon R. Ellis and his wife, Ashley of Ramseur, Blake R. Ellis and his girlfriend, Ariel Weeks of Asheboro, and Casey A. Frank of Franklinville; great grandchild, Braden R. Ellis of Ramseur; brothers: James Reeder and his wife, Louise of Franklinville, and Ermin Beane and his wife, Rita of Grays Chapel; loving nieces and nephews and feline companion, Spaz. The family will receive friends Wednesday, June 29, 2011 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC. The funeral will be held Thursday, June 30, 2011 at 10:00 am at Forest Park Baptist Church, 132 Gum St., Randleman with Pastor Jon Ferguson officiating.
