Betty Eanes Cockman

Betty Eanes Cockman, age 76, of Asheboro died Friday, August 17, 2018 at her home.

Mrs. Cockman was born May 27, 1942 in Austin, Texas and formerly employed in textiles with Burlington Industries.  She enjoyed shopping and flea markets.  Betty was a caring and generous lady who dearly loved her family especially her grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her great grandson: Darren Bowman and her brother: Bobby Eanes.

She is survived by three daughters: Teresa Bowman (Billy Neese) of Asheboro, Cathy (Jeff) Graf of Gulfport, MS and Lynn Hurley of Robbins; one son: Bobby Kidd (Kathy Richardson) of Asheboro; one brother: Wayne Eanes of Baltimore, MD; 9 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
