Betty Carol Edwards Horton, age 76, of Randleman died Saturday, November 12, 2016 at her daughters home in Greensboro.
Mrs. Horton was born January 4, 1940 the daughter of Emory Clinton Edwards and Nancy Elizabeth Suits Edwards who preceded her in death.
Betty was a native of Guilford County and a homemaker. She was a member of Burnett's Chapel United Methodist Church and loved to crochet lap blankets and donated them to the cancer center and nursing homes. She was a loving caring mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend.
She is survived by her children: Ray Hodgin and his wife, Dawn of Franklinville, Kathy LaPine and her husband, Kenny of Greensboro and Wayne Hodgin of Pleasant Garden; five grandchildren: Crystal and Brandy LaPine of Randleman, Josh Hodgin of Asheboro, Megan and Justin Hodgin of Franklinville; 8 great grandchildren; three sisters: Gaynelle Crowley of New Jersery, Wanda Saferight of Randleman and Shirley Hardin of Climax.
There will be a private service held at a later date.
